For over ten years, the Guzmán family has organized this benefit for the El Sagrado Corazón Orphanage in San Juan de los lágos Jalisco, with proceeds funding a children's party to brighten the holiday season.

How Things Got Started
Moved by her first visit to the orphanage, Maria Muñoz Guzmán, the mother of Primorosa Salón owner Eyerim Guzmán, kicked off this tradition of giving. She organized a small party and began asking close friends and family to continue the cause.
 
Years later, the Primorosa Salón is happy to see that the children continue to feel loved and supported.
"After maybe 5 years of my mom doing this year after year, I decided to go visit the orphanage with my mom, and also had a party for the kids with money raised. I wanted to more (help) and got my salón and employees excited to volunteer doing haircuts one day out of the year to help raise more money to make sure every kid gets a present...and a beautiful Christmas party that they deserve." — Eyerim Guzmán, Owner, Primorosa Salón
 
Guzmán stated that there are currently about 35 children at the orphanage. Their presents usually include a full outfit and toys.

Eyerim Guzmán, Owner, Primorosa Salón, has over ten years of experience in the beauty industry. Founded in Hercules, the salón has expanded to a second location in Point Richmond. Specialties include hair coloring, custom treatments, and haircuts. A new aesthetics department has also launched in its Point Richmond location, including facials, sugaring and waxing.
