Bay Area Multifamily Building Enhancements (BAMBE) Program

Resources to Make Your Home Energy Efficient
The City Manager’s Office, Economic Development, Environmental and Health Initiatives Division is pleased to share a valuable resource for residents living in multifamily properties. The Bay Area Multifamily Building Enhancements (BAMBE) program has assisted multifamily properties in planning improvements designed to save 10% or more of a building’s energy and water usage by offering no-cost energy consulting and cash rebates of up to $750 per unit to help pay for the upgrades.
Program benefits include support for building owners to better serve their tenants by improving apartment energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and eliminating greenhouse gases all while reducing tenant and owner bills.
Please visit the BAMBE Incentive Eligibility Tool. Open the tool, then enter your address to identify incentives and rebates you are eligible for. For additional program information, visit BAYREN’s website.
