Free 7-week Workshop Series for Diverse Contractors

This free 7-week workshop series is focused on building the capacity of small, disadvantaged, and local construction contractors to successfully do business in climate-critical fields such as energy efficiency and building electrification.
PG&E, Electrify My Home, Gabel Energy, and the Association for Energy Affordability will be presenting during the first two sessions:
- Introduction to Building Electrification Best Practices on September 28
- Electrification Retrofits: Codes & Case-Studies on October 5.
Other topics covered include:
- Growing and managing your business
- High road contracting
- Public and government contracting
- Estimating and bidding for decarbonization projects
Who should attend? Priority will be given to firms with the following characteristics:
- Licensed contractors in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC trades
- Business enterprises (certification not required) including minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned
- Business revenue from $250K - $1M
- Project scopes from $100K to $1M
- Owners seeking to grow their business
