Attention high school seniors in West Contra Costa County! You are encouraged to apply to the William F. King Scholarship to support your ongoing academic success.

Established in 2004 by the Chevron Richmond Black Employee Network, this scholarship honors Dr. William F. King — a longtime community advocate and Chevron engineer with deep ties to Richmond.

How to Apply

The deadline for applications is January 17, 2024, at 5:00 PM. To be considered, please apply online. Personally delivered, mailed, and incomplete applications will not be accepted. 

Please also note that students are eligible to receive more than one diversity scholarship from Chevron. Students who have received an athletic scholarship are not eligible to participate. Chevron employees or contractors and their children are not eligible to apply.
