Residents of Richmond are coming together to keep their community clean and beautiful with an upcoming cleanup event hosted by the Community Services Department, Recreation Division. As a part of the #LoveYourBlock initiative, the event aims to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the entrance to the Richmond Recreation Complex. Click Here to RSVP

Participants are encouraged to wear clothes suitable for outdoor work, including closed-toe shoes and long sleeves to navigate the rose bushes in the area.

The event promises a fulfilling experience for volunteers, as lunch, gloves, tools, and other supplies will be provided. Additionally, restrooms will be available on-site to ensure participants' comfort throughout the cleanup efforts.

Those interested in joining the cleanup effort can register here. Free street parking is available on Harry Ells Pl, Macdonald Ave, and in the parking lot behind the Recreation Complex off of Macdonald Ave (next to Nicholl Park).
