New Farmers' Market Coming to Marina Bay
Fresh and local produce and artisanal goods are closer than ever for residents of Marina Bay. The City of Richmond recently approved a temporary land use agreement for the weekly event, slated to launch in April 2024. Hours will be 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Sundays.
This initiative is a bold step forward for the community, which has lacked an accessible farmer's market or grocery store for years. The only other farmer's market in Richmond is located at Civic Center Plaza Drive and MacDonald Avenue, which operates on Fridays between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
As the launch date approaches, residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and get ready to support local farmers and artisans.
