For 50 years, Rubicon Programs has served our East Bay neighbors who wanted more; more quality time with their families, more improved health outcomes, more options in their careers, and more opportunities to succeed. With the help of supporters like you, Rubicon has connected tens of thousands of individuals with vital career support, health and wellness services, and community resources that help people achieve more for themselves and their families.
In 2023, Rubicon worked with over 2,700 individuals across the East Bay who wanted to reach for more. Those individuals include people like Michelle, who came to Rubicon after an injury forced her to take a leave of absence from her previous role. When her disability benefits ended and her employer blocked her from receiving unemployment, Michelle decided it was time to give Rubicon a try. “A lot of people talk, and you just don’t know where to turn to when you’re looking for a stable income,” Michelle says. “At Rubicon, they assign you a coach who will help you with all of that. Now, Rubicon is knitted in the fabric of creating generational wealth for my family.”
Michelle connected with a financial coach, wellness coach, career advisor, and attorney at Rubicon while she was in the two-week Foundations workshops series. She explored her options for building on her career in human resources and decided to make the leap to start her own business. Now, Michelle is a licensed doula and is starting her own life coaching business so she can help people on their journeys who have experienced setbacks similar to her own.
